Brisbane’s psychedelic, pop-funk improvisors known as the Vulture St Tape Gang have just dropped a video featuring a star studded cast to support their new single, ‘1st World Problem Solved’.

Besides the appearance from American actor/comedian Hannibal Burres, the music video features a healthy dose of cameo’s from the Melbourne music scene, such as Jaala, Sex On Toast, HTMLflowers and one of Australia’s most treasured jazz icons, Barney McAll (i.e. the one who is wearing a bear suit).

‘1st World Problem Solved’ is produced by Paul Bender (the bass player from Grammy nominated Melbourne band, Hiatus Kaiyote). It features the quirky, lo-fi, 1970’s funk sound that Vulture St Tape Gang are known for; a sound which is complimented by a contagious hook, and a mean back-beat.

You can catch Vulture St Tape Gang, Jaala, HTMLflowers, plus many more at the Good Island Festival hosted by Wondercore Island and Good Manners this Saturday 4/02/2017 at the John Curtin Hotel.
