Okay, let’s get something straight: Let Them Eat Cake is one of our favourite festivals. It’s minimal, intelligent, and celebrates the ephemeral of electronica so critical to our generation. With a no bullshit policy on my end, we are excited, and boy, we’re going to write like it.

Returning for yet another year of music and arts indulgence, Let Them Eat Cake have shared an incredible line-up for their fifth year. Yes, it begins. Announced through razor-sharp style and a futuristic ethos, the day will celebrate an astute aesthetic that will hallmark ‘Cake as a themed utopia. From abstract architecture, limbic installations and an array of sounds, their attention to detail will be the apex of the day: a handcrafted line-up of international and local talent, set to the tasty palette of food and art, amalgamating into one lavish and spatial injection. Quite simply:

So far, ‘Cake have locked in electronica heavyweights:

Alex Niggemann (GER) | Cut Chemist (USA) | Dusky (UK)
edIT (USA) | Heidi (CAN) | Leon Vynehall (UK) | Mano Le Tough (IRE)
Marek Hemmann (Live) (GER) | Maribou State (Dj set) (UK)
Oliver Huntemann (GER) Onra (FRA) | SHADES (Alix Perex and Eprom) (USA)
Shanti Celeste (UK) | TOKiMONSTA (USA)
