Wednesday the 11th of January marks a whole year since the world lost the great David Bowie.
To celebrate and remember the late legend, Double J will be hosting a tribute to Bowie throughout the day with his timeless music and archival interviews.
The tribute kicks off from 3PM with Myf Warhurst on Double J which will also be simulcast on Myf’s ABC Radio show ‘Summer’.
4PM will take us back to Bowie live in concert at the Phoenix Festival in 1996, recorded by the BBC and featuring some of the starman’s most popular hits.
At 8PM, Melbourne’s Hamer Hall tribute concert, David Bowie: Nothing Has Changed which was held in 2016 will feature a re-imagining and celebration of Bowie‘s songs by some of Australia’s best performers backed by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
