We’re back, baby! Being one of Australia’s leading multi-platform music and entertainment show, Speaker TV are pleased to announce the second instalment of our latest monthly music and arts event Citizens of The Streets.

Aiming to promote up-and-coming Australian artists in an original ethos, each night will be held at the Shadow Electric in Melbourne’s iconic Abbotsford Convent and will home opportunities to connect between university crowds, music lovers and of course, the artists involved.

Kicking off the night like a whispered name from the past, the blood drinking, acid hippies Horace Bones will be transforming the venue into a meeting place of strange worlds.

Joining Horace Bones will be The Sand Dollars, who promise live shows that will have you shaking your hips and stomping your feet the whole way through.

Opening the night is brother-sister duo Tom and Jem AKA Wise Child with their mix of organic and electronic sounds, often industrial and dark.

With tunes in between bands from Pretty City DJ’s, the night will also be showcasing a range of mixed media exhibitions, including music photography and art installations by local photographers David Reece, Teresa Pham and Sarah Fern!
