This Friday triple j Breakfast duo Matt & Alex will broadcast live from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in what has affectionately become known as Good Az Friday.
Located at the Melbourne Town Hall, Matt & Alex will put on an epic gala, with the very best local and international funny people, including Sara Pascoe, Rhys Nicholson, Larry Dean, Mae Martin, Becky Lucas, Ivan Aristeguieta, Rose Matafeo, Ciaran Lyons and Aunty Donna.
Audience members will be asked to participate against one another with a live game show while triple j’s Joke-A-Thon will offer skits from ten comics in ten minutes. Father Bob will be along to share a special message for Easter and one of hip-hop’s’ rising stars Dylan Joel will perform a live Like A Version session.
To listen to the broadcast, tune into triple j on Friday 25 March from midday on your radio, online or via the triple j mobile app. Alternatively, you can attend the event in person, where you will be able to donate to the wonderful organisation Reach Out, who aim to provide specifically targeted help and information to young men and women during times of emotional hardship.
