Hip hop collective Thundamentals have announced a special tour exhibiting artwork for their upcoming album Everyone We Know, which is set to be released on Friday the 13th February.

The ARIA nominated outfit will be using highly influential design studio April77 Creative to create a conceptual exhibition that draws inspiration form each individual song on the album. Each piece will be represented by a different person or character to create a 16 piece collection

The Everyone We Know: Exhibition Tour will cover every capital city starting in Melbourne on Tuesday 7th February at The Church of Bang Bang Boogaloo, and culminating in Perth on Thursday 16th. Entry will be free to everyone who can fit, so it is best to arrive early.

MC Tuka says that April77 Creative’s Ben Furnell “almost feels like a part of the band and has always understood our message and vision – going above and beyond every time.” He has been involved with all of the groups previous artwork, notably producing the cover design for So We Can Remember and Everyone We Know.

Ben says that the artwork for the exhibition focuses on celebrating the diversity of the Thundamentals fan base and friends, concluding  “The theme for ’Everyone We Know’ is about people and ‘connectivity’ which we found really inspiring.”

Music and art lovers will be able to listen to and purchase the album, as well as high-quality prints of their favourite artwork. Each event will end with an after-party headed up by a number of special guest DJ’s.
