The Dress Collective is an online boutique that champions 100% Australian independently made fashion and accessories. This weekend they are hosting The Dress Collective Runway show in conjunction with VAMFF Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Not only will The Dress Collective Runway be showcasing 17 of Australia’s finest designers the event is to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute, a charity that works toward the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mood disorders such as depression and bi-polar.
The designer’s range from up-and-coming to established and include Sophia Martin, Chip The Teacup, Kabel Apparel, Vincent Li, Cameron and James, Harlow, That Dapper Chap, Orocéo Castro, AlcieMay Designs, Sets of Seven, Identify Yourself, Why Mary, Jadewood Design, and more.
Founder of The Dress Collective, Claire Goldsworthy, sadly lost a close friend who was also a designer to suicide.
Tickets for The Dress Collective Runway start from $25 for general admission or $55 for VIP seats.
