Thanks to your buddies at Live n’ Local,  Melbourne’s Port Phillip region is set to enjoy a barrage of free live music from the 19th to the 26th of August. To celebrate the festivities, Live n’ Local have created a rad  playlist to compliment the events exclusively for Speaker TV.

The playlist we bring to you boasts tracks from the event’s contributing artists, showcasing the large list of talent on offer over the course of next week. Flowing through surf rock, blues, percussion based tribal beats, RnB, and reggae this eclectic mix is a must have to get you through the dregs of winter, and pump you up for the plethora of live music on offer.

The event kicks off at Acland Plaza with a pop-up party headlined by Jess Ribiero. With hauntingly sharp vocals, Ribiero’s the perfect musical accompaniment to a wintery Melbourne evening.

Stretching the opening night even further is a headline show by Melbourne surf rockers La Bastard at the Starward Distillery. Garage and blues are also on offer, as well as Starward’s signature whiskey cocktails and grub from local food trucks.

The morning tunes being accompanied by ‘music bites’, snacks to get hungry workers through the day.
