Perth’s Winter Arts Festival opens the doors to their incredibly eye catching pop-up art space, showcasing multi-media projections, installations and live performances.

Tons and tons of Noodles @ Night Noodle Markets, South Bank, Brisbane, QLD

Returning for its 2016 incarnation, the Night Noodle Markets on Brisbane’s South Bank has the ingredients to please even the harshest of culinary critics. The increasingly popular event which unionises over a dozen individual stalls to bring Brisbanites some of the countries finest hawker-style Asian street cuisine. With the likes of local Ramen maestro Taro Akimoto from Taro’s Ramen attending along with stalls from all over the country, theres really no reason not to venture out of the house this weekend for you weekly noodle dose!

Night Noodle Markets runs from July 20–31 at South Bank’s Cultural Forecourt. Visit from 5pm weekdays and 4pm on weekends.

Cookin’ On Three Burners Live @ Newtown Social Club, Sydney, NSW

Apart from not being at Splendour and catching Pokemon, Sydney siders have plenty to of things to do this weekend. If funk and soul tickles your musical fancy, Sydney’s Newtown Social Club is hosting three piece groove train Cookin’ On Three Burners. With a wealth of interest surrounding the neo soul/funk trio on the back of their #1 collaboration with Kungs, their latest stop over in Sydney is sure to be one of the best opportunities to catch the boys up close.

Shred fresh powder all weekend long @ Mt. Buller, VIC

From the crack of dawn Saturday morning until late Sunday afternoon you can expect flurries of white gold at Mount Buller Ski Area.

Port Adelaide Vs. GWS Giants @ Adelaide Oval, Adelaide, SA

This weekend isn’t you’re average day out at the footy. Sunday afternoon sees the mighty Power take on the youthful guns GWS in a game which will heavily impact where teams find themselves come September.

But besides the game itself, the fan favourite Game Day Village will be in full swing, bringing punters bringing live music, $5 beers and hot food to the Oval’s edge. Located on the tennis courts on War Memorial Drive, with access to the area from the Southern Plaza, footy fans can step straight from the game into the village.
