Ever wanted to see what The Clash, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols and Blondie are like during their gigs? Well now is your chance. SunStudios and Canon Australia are hosting the PUNKULTURE photo exhibition that features 62 images of iconic punk/rock bands by Adrian Boot, the renowned music photographer based in the UK. The punk revolution still has ripples visible now and is undeniably one of the most important cultural shifts of the last 40 years.

PUNKULTURE will showcase heaps of images that haven’t been viewed in Australia before, taking the audience through the ‘do it yourself’ ethos of artists in the 1970’s who heralded the birth of independent music through revolutionary punk style and attitude.

If you reside somewhere other than Sydney I’d be booking that weekend away soon as it’s only being housed at SunStudios in Alexandria NSW. The exhibition runs from the 4th of April until the 13th of May, and is totally FREE! so go on get your punk on and see some snaps from some of your favourite bands.

Also there are a limited number of PUNKULTURE prints available, but first in first served.
