On September the 9th, designers Alabama Blonde and Loser Art will launch Testament as part of Melbourne Fashion Week. A collaboration for one night only in an exclusive collection and fashion launch event.
While visions of fashion week usually include pretty clothes paraded on a runway in front of pretty people for these artists it will be more about boundaries, raw, youth, sex & latex.
Conor of Fortunes will provide sound while audiences are treated to a visual spectacle of lights and fashion, including a performance by Motovilhika which will be followed by an afterparty in partnership with LeFag.
With pieces that have appeared in Dazed’s 25th anniversary worn by FKA Twigs, it is the first look at what is described as the resurgence of the spine tingling, thought provoking, prolific punk fashion genre.
Set in a secret warehouse location in Collingwood Testament will merge fashion with social consciousness, political awareness and positivity.
